I started drag in 2023 to expand my practice and challenge myself to work in new ways and connect with audiences wider than that of the dance world. performing at the royal vauxhall tavern, the glory, clapham grand and lafayette.

‘a gentle meditation of movement. each hair and every fishnet revealing a delicate, intimate identity. gradually rising though conflicting (and confusing) happenings.’

‘this dance performance explores the relationship of my paraguayan heritage, what can my dna test through ancestry,co.uk teach me?
“dna is a molecule composed of two chains that coil around each other to form a double helixcarrying genetic instructions for the development, functioning, growth and reproduction of all known organisms and many viruses.”
how can i connect to this through movement? in the piece, i use soundbites from “pocahontas” to subvert the meaning and also to show that my upbringing has taught me nothing about these cultures that i wish i had been taught about. i am also interested in highlighting the sexualisation of indigenous south american bodies in western european culture and exploring how my own non-binary existence relates within that.’
